The PFEA 2026 works are already under way in the Celulosas neighbourhood. The action focuses on adapting the public spaces and improving the infrastructures of this area of the municipality, as stated by the councillor for Servicios Generales, Victoria Rodríguez.
127 hirings
The project entails the hiring of 127 people, divided into two groups:
—38 official first-class bricklayers, for a duration of 30 days.
—89 public works labourers, for 15 days.
In this way, the PFEA once again fulfils a double function: improving municipal infrastructures and boosting employment in the municipality.
Prior meeting with the residents
Before the works began, the government team held an informative meeting with the residents. At that meeting the details of the planned actions were shared, it was explained how the works would be carried out and the questions raised about their execution were answered.
What the PFEA is
The Programa de Fomento del Empleo Agrario is a programme that makes it possible to carry out improvements in public spaces and, at the same time, to favour the hiring of workers. The Ayuntamiento de San Juan del Puerto is driving the actions of this 2026 through it.
With the start of the works in Celulosas, the Consistorio continues with its aim of improving the public spaces of the municipality and addressing the needs of its neighbourhoods, as the Ayuntamiento itself states.
The visit
The councillor for Servicios Generales, Victoria Rodríguez, has visited the Celulosas neighbourhood to see on the ground how the works are progressing, which aim to improve the urban environment and contribute to the wellbeing of the residents.
