Moguer celebrates the Arte de Vivir days with a gala and visits until Friday
The elderly of Moguer and Mazagón have this week the Arte de Vivir days, organised by the concejalía de Bienestar Social and the centro Andaluz Universal. The main gala will be on Thursday 22 at the teatro Felipe Godínez and the activities end on Friday 23 with a visit to Zafra.
The Arte de Vivir days have started in Moguer with a lecture on the relations between the city and America, by Sergio Ollero Lara, doctor in Heritage and manager in the concejalía de Cultura. The opening event was held in the cloister of San Francisco.
Visit to the Convento de la Luz
This Wednesday, October 21, a guided visit is planned to the Convento de la Luz, in the municipality of Lucena del Puerto, a 15th-century complex whose construction is attributed to the Moguer native Diego de Oyón. The lawyer and writer Luis de la Prada will lead the tour.
Gala and tribute at the Felipe Godínez
On Thursday, October 22, the main event of the days, the Gala Arte de Vivir, is held at the teatro Felipe Godínez, where tribute will be paid to the personal and professional career of several residents of Moguer and Mazagón.
Closing in Zafra
The days end on Friday, October 23, with a tourist visit by the group of elderly people from Moguer to the monumental city of Zafra.
Opening
The opening was attended by the mayor of Moguer, Gustavo Cuéllar; the president of the centro Andaluz Universal, Juan Garrido Pinzón, and the concejala Lourdes Garrido.
