An award for a consolidated career
The award, which has the support of the Fundación Atlantic Copper as Official Collaborator of the event, recognises film and television professionals with a consolidated career and projection in the audiovisual industry, according to the festival organisation.
Salamanca made her debut in the youth series «SMS, sin miedo a soñar» and achieved popularity with her role as Catalina in «Sin tetas no hay paraíso», for which she received nominations for Best New Actress at the Premios de la Unión de Actores and the Fotogramas de Plata. On television she has also starred in «Felipe y Letizia», «Gran Hotel» --which earned her a TP de Oro Award for Best Actress and a nomination at the Festival de Montecarlo--, «Velvet» and «Tiempos de guerra».
Film, theatre and directing
In film she has taken part in titles such as «Fuga de cerebros», «Tensión sexual no resuelta», «Nuestros amantes», «Lo dejo cuando quiera» and «The Man from Rome», shot entirely in English. On stage she has worked in «La marquesa de O», «La Orestiada» and «Prometeo», the latter two at the Teatro Clásico de Mérida.
In recent years she has combined projects such as the series «Todos mienten», for which she won the Premio Produ for Best Supporting Actress, «Bienvenidos a Edén» and «Muertos S.L.». In 2026 she has premiered the series «Pura sangre», alongside Ángela Molina, and the film «La ahorcada», and the cinema release of «Hechos probados» is still pending on November 13. That same year she has completed her first project as a director, the short film «Empatía», of which she is also the screenwriter.
