Chucena celebrates ten years of its Wine Fair starting Thursday

The 10th Chucena Wine Fair takes place from November 5 to 8 with music, tastings, food and the presentation of the 2026 Cepas de Oro awards.

From Thursday, November 5 to Sunday, November 8, Chucena celebrates the tenth edition of its Wine Fair. Four days with musical performances, tastings, gastronomy, children's activities, sport and an exhibition of agricultural machinery, as announced by the town's Ayuntamiento. The central moment of each edition returns once again this year: the presentation of the Cepas de Oro de Chucena 2026. The event coincides this year with the tenth anniversary of the fair, which was born a decade ago around wine as one of the municipality's hallmarks.

Two tastings with prior registration

The programme includes two tastings. The first is led by Alonso Solís, a local of the municipality, and is held on Friday, November 6 at 14:00 at the Recinto de la Feria del Vino. The second is a pairing tasting by the sommelier Mónica Rosón, on Saturday, November 7 at 14:00 in the salón de actos of the Cooperativa Vitivinícola. To attend either of the two you must register at the Ayuntamiento. The period to get information, find out the prices and sign up was open from October 26 to 30, as the portal reported on October 28.

A village of just over 2,300 residents

Chucena is a municipality in the province of Huelva, in the Condado region, with 2,306 inhabitants according to the INE of 2025. The fair is held at the Recinto de la Feria del Vino, the space where the tastings and the rest of the scheduled activities take place.
