Free course on caring for people with Alzheimer's in Cartaya

The Andalusian Confederation of Alzheimer's and Other Dementias (ConFEAFA), with the collaboration of the Cartaya Town Council, is organising a programme of seven training actions open both to those who care for a family member and to the rest of the population. The classes are taught by the Association of Relatives of Alzheimer's Patients of Lepe (AFALE).
These are in-person sessions held between October 28 and December 2, every Wednesday from 16:30 to 18:30, at the "Alcalde Juan Antonio Millán" Cultural Centre. The sessions include a snack.
The programme aims to provide tools to understand the disease and improve care and attention, as well as to offer support to families living with Alzheimer's. Registration is done at the Social Services Centre, at calle Blas Infante, 6, Monday to Friday from 9:30 to 13:30.
